Where to copy Yeezy Foam Runner “Vermilion” and other new sneakers?



Two Yeezy shoes are on our radar this week, but that’s not all.

The first is the all new YZY NSLTD BT ankle boot, which looks like down jackets for your feet. By comparison, the Yeezy Foam Runner doesn’t seem so crazy anymore – that’s probably why Kanye West (or Ye) ultimately decided to release it in a shocking shade of red instead of some other boring neutral shade his ex-wife had. If you’d rather go incognito, you’ll find plenty of options in this week’s list of new sneakers, from Comme des Garçons mountain running shoes to Sacai’s long-awaited collaboration with Japanese streetwear label Undercover.

Comme des Garçons x Salomon XA-Alpine

Simply flaunting the name “Comme des Garçons” is enough to turn Salomon’s XA-Alpine shoes into Grail-worthy pieces, which is exactly what the eponymous fashion label led by Rei Kawakubo did when it launched. third collaboration with the French sportswear label. The high top shoes, designed to provide stability, support and protection to mountain runners, are available in black or white. CDG also remixed the Cross trail running shoes, leaving its iconic grippy soles intact but adding houndstooth to its uppers.

Sean Wotherspoon x Adidas SUPEREARTH Superstar

Last year, streetwear designer Sean Wotherspoon introduced the Superearth Superstar sneakers, a colorful and durable take on the classic Adidas. Now, shortly after their Disney-inspired collaboration, he and Three Stripes are preparing to release a black version of the shoes, which feature recycled paper laces, cork insoles and a recycled rubber sole.

Nike x Sacai x Undercover LDWaffle

After collaborations with Fragment and CLOT, Sacai is now releasing a trio of its Nike LDWaffle sneakers made with Undercover designer Jun Takahashi. Classic Sacai signatures are still there, like the double Swoosh and double tongue details. Takahashi’s contribution can be seen through the incorporation of leather overlays, contrasting laces and striking colourways that would go with his streetwear brand. The controversial Yeezy Foam Runner is back on our radar, this time in a much more striking shade of red than any of the neutral shades in which sustainable algae shoes have previously been offered. Get them if you’re looking to spice up your shoe wardrobe in a way Kanye West would approve of.
