Victoria Beckham reveals her kids want her to postpone these ’90s outfits

Victoria Beckham has revealed her kids wanted her to revisit her ’90s outfits – but she believes she would end up “locked up by the fashion police.”

The 47-year-old designer – who shares Brooklyn, 22, Romeo, 19, Cruz, 16, and Harper, 10, with husband David Beckham – revealed her offspring continue to unearth old photos from their Spice Girls years .

Despite their insistence that hitmaker Wannabe try the same “really cool” looks again, the fashion boss disagrees.

She told the Wall Street Journal: “My kids are pulling out all my old photos! There’s a paparazzi photo of me walking into Marks & Spencer and I’m on the phone, wearing a tracksuit bottom, some sort of sneakers, and I have a big silver puffer jacket. [jacket].

‘Cruz sent me this picture a few weeks ago and said: “Mum, you are so cool, why don’t you dress like that anymore?” And I tell myself that if I dressed like this now, I would be locked up by the fashion police …

“There’s one of me and David who walks our Rottweiler dogs which by the way were called Puffy and Snoop when we lived in Manchester. And my kids say to me: ‘Mom, you are really cool!’ ‘

Victoria and David wore matching head-to-toe black leather outfits in 1999 and the fashion boss admitted their wardrobe choice was “so bad.”

According to her, the misstep was due to their choice of designer for the occasion, rather than their outfits.

Posh Spice also joked that she “will never, never, never, ever be allowed to forget this look,” adding that she couldn’t believe the pair wore Gucci to a Versace event.

Victoria had previously insisted that she had no regrets and that she “never looked back and cringe” at her questionable clothing choices.

The former pop star said her style evolution had been “a journey” and that she had learned to keep it “simple” when it came to her personal look as she discussed her fashion career in an interview with Grazia.

“I never look back and stop at nothing. It has been a journey and everything has brought me to where I am now. You know, I think it’s about keeping it pretty straightforward, being true to who I am, and being comfortable.
