London dog owner wears matching outfits with her whippet.

Hackney’s Paz Castro bought four-year-old Lloyd a collection of timeless clothes to coordinate with his own.

The jewelry designer said she is fed up with shiny clothes in pet stores and wants Lloyd to wear outfits that identify with her monochrome style.

Signature colors include creams, whites, navy blue, black, and gray.

Lloyd even shares a wardrobe with Paz and her husband, who says she and Lloyd take up most of it with their many coats and sweaters.

Paz said: “I don’t have kids yet but Lloyd is my baby and I just wanted him to reflect what I want. Recently he was only wearing raincoats.

“In England, you have to be ready for anything. But he is very lucky to receive a lot of clothes.

Lloyd has a collection of raincoats that turns heads on the streets. But like everyone else, Paz has his favorite outfits for strutting around East London.

“My favorite thing to wear is a big jacket – it will cover me with all the dog paws. It’s good not to be disturbed as you expect dogs to jump on you, it will happen. You cannot be too valuable.

“I love Lloyd in a jumpsuit – he’s got a few in different colors.”

On their Instagram, they gathered nearly 25,000 followers to showcase their twin outfits in beautifully taken photos.

Paz says she takes the footage herself and usually uses a self-timer to capture them.

Originally from Chile, Paz set up the account for friends and family in South America to see in his outfits.

“My mom knows she can go on Instagram and see Lloyd. She is my biggest fan. If I haven’t posted, she’ll remind me that I haven’t posted a lot of outfits with Lloyd.

Paz has spent years working in the fashion industry, which is reflected in his style and that of Lloyd. Lloyd has even modeled for designer brands such as Burberry and Axel Arigato after being noticed for her elegance and style.

But over the past few years, Paz says she’s trying to become more sustainable with the clothes she and Lloyd wear. She also admits that they don’t always match the outfits because comfort is the key to life.

She said, “I’m not a crazy spendthrift. I always buy brands that I love for him. But in recent years I have decided to cut back on my shopping and buy better and more local.

“And the practicality is important because he’s obviously a dog, he walks around and it gets tricky, but I like to add a bit of flair.

“We don’t play games every day, but I at least try to match the tone. I wouldn’t put it in red and I would wear something green. Most of the time at home, Lloyd is naked. I won’t dress her for fun.

“If he’s cold, he’ll get under a blanket. And I’m the same, the first thing I do when I get home is put on cold clothes – there is nothing better.

Although Paz has a creative flair, she doesn’t think about creating her own line of dog clothes. However, she plans to start a blog to share fashion and travel tips.

She said: “I am very bad at writing, but I would love to start a blog with Lloyd.

“So many people will ask me questions about how I travel with Lloyd, how to style him and I can’t answer all of them. It would save me so much trouble if I had a blog.
