Khloé Kardashian channels Barbie in hot pink metallic outfit

Barbie gets the Kardashian treatment.

Last week, Khloé Kardashian (who turns 38 today) shared photos of a head-to-toe hot pink outfit that, combined with her highlighted blonde locks, mimicked the iconic doll’s signature look.

Khloé’s monochrome ensemble consisted of a skin-tight bodysuit from older sister Kim Kardashian’s shapewear line, SKIMS, and hot pink metallic pants from her own brand, Good American. She completed the look with a pair of metallic pink leather pumps from Christian Louboutin.

Hot pink is dominating Hollywood fashion lately. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the gang made some colorful cameos in Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated live-action Barbie movie. Paparazzi photos captured on set lead Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling entirely surrounded by electric shadow.

Color has also invaded the catwalks and red carpets. Valentino’s creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, sprayed 40 looks from the house’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection in “Valentino Pink PP”, a saturated shade developed by color specialists Pantone. The collection has since graced award shows and festivals, appearing on Zendaya, Gigi Hadid, Anne Hathaway and many more.

“The accumulation of pink elements is such as to eliminate the visual shock to bring out, together, the uniqueness of the person, expressed by the face and the eyes, and the work on the clothes”, explain the notes of the l ’emission.

Celebrity street style also favors the hot pink trend. Penélope Cruz, Emily Ratajkowski and Kylie Jenner are just a few celebs who have recently put their own spin on the look.
