Farm & Home Supply recently acquired three Big R stores, including 2804 N. Dirksen Parkway.
The other stores are in Lincoln and Taylorville. The name Farm & Home Supply will appear in these stores.
The Springfield Big R will be temporarily closed and will eventually reopen as a new eastern location for Farm & Home Supply.

Farm & Home Supply currently has a store one block north at 2900 N. Dirksen Parkway. He also has a store at 3030 Wabash Ave.
The three stores acquired will be renovated and enlarged.
Farm & Home Supply was founded as a one-stop shop in 1960, under the name Quincy Farm Supply. It now has 16 stores in Illinois, Missouri and Iowa.

In addition to farm and household items, stores stock sporting and hunting items, farm / farm equipment, automobiles, clothing, footwear, pet supplies, and garden tools. The new stores will include full-service small engine repair centers and in-store / curbside pickup areas.
