Popular store-bought canned cocktails ranked worst to best
The little ordinary silver cans that F!ve Drinks Co. the products could be easily passed over at the store, but these little drinks are so much more than the non-existent label might suggest. The company has created a core collection of six canned cocktail flavors, including Moscow Mule, Margarita, Mojito, Paloma, Gin and Tonic, and Watermelon Vodka Soda. Most cocktails are between 9% and 11% ABV, with Watermelon Vodka Soda at 5.9% ABV.
While none of these drinks are particularly unique in the world of canned cocktails, it’s what’s in them that caught our attention. For example, the margarita is made with tequila, triple sec, lime, and agave syrup as usual, but also includes infused hibiscus and infused habanero, ingredients that set it apart from your typical mass-produced margarita. In the mojito, you’ll find rum, mint, soda water, and sugar, but instead of lime, the mojito takes on a delicious citrus kick of passion fruit. In addition to the six core flavors, F!ve offers a rotating cocktail dispense designed in collaboration with real bars and bartenders to bring premium bar-quality cocktails straight to your living room.
Currently, F!ive collaborates with Dante NYC to create three cocktails: the Summer Spritz, the Americano 2.0 and the Gin and Tonic. Unfortunately, the cans can only really be found in stores in the New York area, but can be ordered online and shipped to 40 states.
