Frank Ocean to Launch “American Luxury” Fashion Brand with High-End Jewelry and Silk Scarves
[ad_1]
Enigmatic R&B artist Frank Ocean has announced Homer, his new ‘American luxury business’. The company’s first collection consists of high-end jewelry and printed silk scarves.
Homer “represents the carving of history in stone,” explains a press release, probably referring to the influential Greek writer. Frank Ocean says the first collection is inspired by âchildhood obsessionsâ and âheritage as fantasyâ.
The jewelry is made from 18k gold, recycled sterling silver, American lab-grown diamonds and hand-painted enamel. Laboratory-grown diamonds are a more ethical alternative to diamond mining. The collection includes chains, diamond rings, bracelets and even tongue rings, all handcrafted in Italy.
