This quote, delivered by Breakthrough Fashion Icon Award winner Doja Cat, at Daily top rank Fashion Awards, pretty much sums up the rapper’s approach to dressing this fashion month.
It all started in New York, when she took advantage of a recently shaved head to step out in wild (and insanely good) glam, alongside a series of killer outfits. There were tiny eyebrows, futuristic 360-degree makeup, and larger-than-life costumes.
She kept the theme in Paris, arriving at shows in full makeup – white with blue outline at Monot, and a golden moment in her own right at AWAKE Mode. The clothing looks were put together thanks in part to stylist Brett Alan Nelson, who has been alongside Doja all month.
Honestly, everyone needs to take a page out of their book. She was one of the few people willing to take big leaps and as a result seemed to be really having fun this season. What’s the point, right?
