Camila Cabello debuted with a new look while performing at Global Citizen Live in New York this week.
The “Don’t Go Yet” singer took the stage in a groovy printed outfit by Laroxx. Her ensemble included an oversized shirt, leggings and a corset with extremely long ties, all in a multi-colored swirl print. When worn with round purple sunglasses from Privé Revaux, her look had a distinct ’70s vibe. Later that afternoon, Cabello swapped the hippie outfit for a ribbed beige shirt and black leggings, paired with the same printed corset and flowy dress.
Cabello’s Global Citizen Experience also included a performance with boyfriend Shawn Mendes. The duo reunited on stage, where they performed their duo “Señorita” together. Later that evening, they also sang alongside Coldplay for a group performance of the group’s hit song “Yellow”. For the occasion, Cabello changed his outfit a third time, wearing an oversized tie-dye hooded dress.
Global Citizen Live is an annual 24-hour live broadcast that features events and performances by international artists to raise funds for aid to poverty. This year’s event features performances by Billie Eilish, Jennifer Lopez, Coldplay, Demi Lovato, Lizzo, Lorde and more. It also features appearances by many activists, philanthropists, business leaders and other personalities working to help with Global Citizen’s one-year Global Recovery Plan campaign, which aims to end COVID-19 and the hunger crisis, as well as increasing learning, environmental protection and global equity.
As for shoes, the “Havana” singer regularly wears Nike and Adidas sneakers, in addition to Franco Sarto, Birkenstock and Steve Madden slides and sandals. However, her wallet-friendly shoe style often incorporates brands like Topshop, Candie’s, and UrbanOG. The singer often pairs them with dresses, tops and bottoms from affordable brands like H&M, Forever 21 and Zara, in addition to high-end brands like Dolce & Gabbana, Isabel Marant and Versace.
